Here’s how I’d teach my 13-year-old nephew Content writing.
I won’t tell him to “just write anything.”
I’ll tell him to pick something he loves, learn to DO and talk about it well.
That’s how you find your niche, by doing, not guessing.
I won’t tell him to “sound smart.”
I’ll tell him to make people understand.
Clarity beats grammar every single time.
I won’t tell him to “post consistently.”
I’ll tell him to show up like he’s talking to a friend and genuinely care for others.
That’s how people start to care.
And when he asks, “What should I write about?”
I’ll say;
→ Write about what you’re learning.
→ Write about what you’ve tried.
→ Write about what you wish someone told you sooner.
Because great content isn’t about sounding perfect...
it’s about being real, relevant, and consistent.
If he learns that at 13, he’ll never struggle to write at 30.
What would you tell him too?
